FLOOD OF TEARS

Today there were rains and floods in Houston. When the water receded on the Gulf Freeway- Federal Interstate 45- they found a thirty-seven year old lady and her 16 year old daughter trapped in their car under the water.

The other day a Iraqi legislature member was arrested with a suitcase full of money. He was alleged to have been stealing $75,000,000.00 per week for some time.

On TV you don't see the Billion with a B dollars a month we throw in military subsidy to the munitions suppliers to blow up another country and create more business for them and Homeland Security in the form of new enemies we have generated.

Just that suitcase full of stolen cash, or even the legally paid taxes we have paid would have fixed the perennial flooding at the Telepsen underpass on 45 South. Or just $100,000 would have bought a nice sump pump for that federally funded death trap.

The Iraqi military invasion ordered by w.bush is an illegal war crime. It is part of the reason we can't afford to repair our own infrastructure so that the last living actions of a mother and daughter would not have been clawing at interior trim to escape the coffin our politician's incompetence and corruption provided for their last terror.

WE SEE COMPLACENT AMERICANS SAYING THEIR VOTE WON'T MATTER.

WE SEE dIbold. OUTSOURCE PRIVATIZED CORPORATE GOVERNMENT COUNTING THE VOTE UNDER SECRET RULES ONLY THEY CAN MAKE UP, PRECINCT BY PRECINCT.

WE SEE IN A VERY NARROW PERIPHORY. THERE ARE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD LOOKING AT US. THEY LOOSE HOPE FOR THEIR OWN CHANCE TO VOTE WHILE WE CAN VOTE AND DON'T.

those who don't vote have no advantage over those who cannot vote.

We can and won't vote, thinking it is rigged. It is being rigged, but it is harder to rig a complete electorate than a mere 26% of those elegible: it is hard to beat a heads-up team.

To look at it in another espejo, how can you expect only 26% of the voters to overcome the rigged count? Democracy requires a full vote where the voters must make their own mistakes if they elect the wrong Ayatolla or a Republican.

Democracy is the worst possible form of government--except for all the others.

VOTE, even if you vote wrong. Just VOTE.

See, people are begining to see the elephant is nekked. They finally get it, that the king hasn't got any to wear, but the king and his guys aren't even believing thier own wardrobe list. The idea that everyone knew the Congressman was chasing underage pages after half these yo-yo hypocrites had voted to impeach Bill Clinton is a slim clue to the lack of integrety we have invested in a set of Republican Majority Religious Right Radicals.

I personally don't care that the Republican flirted with the pages, except that it would be unethical, inappropriate, and in poor taste even for a hypocrite. I say that if he had chased underage women it would be the same-ridiculous at best, illegal maybe. What I can't see is that he was voting to withhold legal rights from a serious set of Americans who want equality, or to marry, or to live as they choose in the land of the free. He voted against the gay marriage, etc, yet felt free to practice gaiety in his own isolated, privileged world.

The Republican Speaker of the House apparently knew. I guess it is all right to ignore your own whiskers if you are the barber.

This is the time to count the votes. If you don't think voting counts, vote now and see.

Throw the bums out, vote for someone else.
